Pyramid’s nominal ledger is automatically updated, in real-time, by every other ledger, so management information is up-to-date and instantly available at all times. Up to thirteen accounting periods can be open at any time and you do not lose the controls associated with a period based system.

Nominal Ledger Structure

The nominal ledger is able to support up to 9,999 cost centres or departments with user definable alphanumeric nominal codes. Each nominal code and cost centre is allocated a notes facility, which has an unlimited writing capacity.

The nominal ledger also includes two sub-ledgers, there is Component Accounting for property assets and development and fixed assets for non-property items.
