First registered in 1985 to meet the housing and support needs of the Irish community, Innisfree Housing Association now owns and manages over 550 homes mainly across the London Boroughs of Brent, Camden and Haringey.
The key to accurate management information is an integrated nominal ledger that collates data from all of the peripheral ledgers. Pyramid’s nominal ledger is automatically updated, in real-time, by every other ledger, so management information is up-to-date and instantly available at all times. Up to thirteen accounting periods can be open at any time and you do not lose the controls associated with a period based system.
The nominal ledger is able to support up to 9,999 cost centres or departments with user definable alphanumeric nominal codes. Each nominal code and cost centre is allocated a notes facility, which has an unlimited writing capacity.
The nominal ledger also includes two sub-ledgers, there is Component Accounting for property assets and development and fixed assets for non-property items.
With detailed transaction analysis, scheme/cost centre analysis and easy reporting, including automated export to Microsoft Excel, the Pyramid nominal ledger forms the hub for the rest of the system.
